Jago's
Sitting quietly retracted within Sydney's secondary CBD, Jago's is in North
Sydney but not of North Sydney. Neat and elegant hardwood floors and sandstone
walls comfortably distinguish this restaurant from other North Sydney eateries,
and it has a courtyard adjacent to the front door. In the warmer months, a lush
green crop of foliage clings to the retaining wall that separates diners and
drinkers from the casual atmosphere of the park next door. At night this area is
well lit and warmed to allow for dining alfresco. The mix of food presented is
as comfortable as the setting, not attempting to be of any particular style or
flair. A smaller semi-secluded room can comfortably seat eight for a more
private dining experience and is available for those who book ahead.

proves popular. Jago itself is located in the basement area of the hotel and
serves a variety of gastronomic delights. On the second floor, they have a roof
