Just like to mention my father Alfred Jago, he was in the East Lancashire Regiment of the British army.

He volunteered for rearguard action during the Dunkirk battle, he was one of only 8 men that survived helping to give time for soldiers to be taken off the beach, his Captain Ervine-Andrews was awarded the Victoria Cross for his galantry in the battle.

Thank you for this information about your father, What a true hero, I enjoyed reading about the battle and also about his captain I really enjoy history.
