Can anyone help  out here.

Terry

I am not sure if this is the sort of question you are inviting but would like to ask.

Do you have any knowledge of Elizabeth Jago (IGI source) christened 25 Jan 1778 Maker, Cornwall who parents were Robert Jago and Mary.

I am trying to find the wife of George Crossman (indentially his son Robert married an Eliza Jago in Tavistock- my ggmother).

George Crossman was a labourer born 1778 .

According to Elizabeth death 9 Aug 1845 and certificate she was born 1779.

There is a marriage in Kelly Parish 21 Sep 1803 where George Crossman and Elizabeth Jago both sojouners to the parish.

The marriage in Tavistock of George Crossman to Elizabeth Ford is not correct.

I have not come across Maker before but wonder if anbody has any knowledge of the Jagos there or if anybody else has any 'claim' to this Elizabeth. I have not found another Elizabeth Jago born abot 1779 in the area.

Any help would be appreciated.
